  1. I believe there is still a fantasy golf league ran by someone at TST, and I believe they run it through Yahoo. I'm sure someone will create a post around January with the information. I do fantasy golf on most of the major sites. I play the free games at Yahoo, PGATour.com, and BuzzFantasyLeagues.com. I also play the daily cash games at DraftKings. And I run my private league (I run a fantasy golf auction with friends) at BuzzFantasyLeagues.com. If you have any questions about any of these sites, feel free to PM me.
  2. I'm in. Looking forward to it.
  3. I agree. Out of all of the guys in the final round of Q-School right now, I want Noh to qualify the most. I think he will do great things on the Tour. I'm also pulling for Summerhays, Horschel, and Hadwin. Horschel and Hadwin need to get going though...
  4. With McIlroy and Westwood joining the PGA Tour in 2012, who does everyone see as the top fantasy pick in 2012? I could see any of these guys being in the picture... Donald, Mickelson, Woods, Watney, D. Johnson, McIlroy, Westwood, Day, Schwartzel... My vote would be for Watney or McIlroy. Although, I think McIlroy will probably play the minimal amount of events so I would have to lean more towards Watney.
  5. In the article I read, it commented on Rory playing on Tour next season... but I haven't found actual confirmation of that yet. I think he will be though.
  6. If you think Kuchar and Woodland is bad for the U.S., think about the Australian team. They have guys like Jason Day, Aaron Baddeley, Adam Scott, John Senden, Geoff Ogilvy, and Robert Allenby. Yet they have Richard Green and Brendan Jones representing them.
  7. Lee Westwood announced today that he is accepting his Tour Card for 2012. He'll be playing in at least 15 events next year including The Players. It's nice to see some of the top European pros committing to the PGA Tour in 2012.
  8. Yes, but people made that same argument about Phil Mickelson back in the day. Now look how many majors he has. I really believe Westwood will win a major. History is on his side... I believe that all players who have held the world #1 ranking have at some point won a major.
  9. I read on rotoworld that Casey will have conditional status, but may choose to play primarily European events in 2012. I like Stanley as well. It's actually pretty amazing how good of a rookie class the PGA Tour had in 2011. Out of all of the rookies from this year, I like Kyle Stanley and Kevin Chappell to perform well in 2012. I'm not so confident in Bradley. I think he'll be good, maybe make around 1.5 million, but I don't see him coming close to the year he had in 2011. He won't have to play near as many events in 2012, so he'll probably be much more selective with the tournaments he plays. Plus he'll have a lot more distractions next year with endorsements and such.
  10. I like Lee Westwood. In his last 7 majors, he has 3 top 3's, a top 10, and 2 top 16's.
  11. I think you'll see Rory take his Tour card in 2012. He has stated in some interviews that he is giving some thought to playing the PGA Tour next year. As for Casey, I think he'll be fine next year as he is exempt due to past wins. Clark is exempt as well, but his performance will depend on his injury. I'd love to see Westwood and Kaymer accept their Tour cards as it would guarantee them in 15 events, but they'll probably end up playing 11 or so events anyway. As for Simpson, he is definitely for real. He is super talented and just needed a breakout win which he got this year. He'll be good for quite some time. Now on the other hand, I would definitely stay away from the rookie winners from 2011 next year. Guys who have had great rookie years in the past tend to have a "sophmore slump." Guys like Vegas, Steele, Bradley, and Kirk scare me in 2012. I really think Gary Woodland is going to make more noise next year. I could see him winning a major. He can bomb the ball, has improved is short game, and plays really confident.
  12. I'm heading to Vegas in January and was wondering if anyone knows of some good tournaments to play in. I'm looking for tournaments that cost anywhere between $50 to $300 to buy in. Also, can you bet on golf in Vegas? (I'm sure you can, you can bet on anything) Just wondering how it works. Can you bet on a player to make top 3, 10, or 25?
  13. Between Ali, Tiger, Jordan Most dominating at his sport: Gretsky
  14. Pitt over Cinci 17-14 NE over Colts 31-23
  15. 2010 Money Leader: Tiger. Unexpected 2 tournament winner: Jason Day
  16. Kim with 3 wins? I'd disagree with that. He parties too much and is over aggressive. And Goydos is a choke artist, so I don't see him winning a tournament. I think T. Clark is taking down the Masters this year. Just a feelin. I think you forgot about Stricker. Maybe replace Kim with Stricker...
  17. As long as Tiger is playing, he'll be number 1. But I do think Phil is going to have a great 2010 season.
  18. Do they have an iPod app for this?
  19. It's Tiger, he'd find a way to win. I say he shoots -10 and all the other players fold under the pressure of playing against Tiger. Unless Y.E. Yang is in the field.
