  1. Near Marbella I'd recommend Los Naranjos, Rio Real, and if you can get a tee time, Guadalmina Sur. Los Arqueros is going to be very simmilar to La Quinta. About 30-45 min going west, and a bit pricier, you can play Finca Cortesin, host course for the World Match Play Champonship. Another 10 minutes heading west will get you to San Roque Old and New, and La Cañada, very nice course. Have fun !!
  2. I have the same bag you have, and I usually carry it around , but sometimes, if I play 4 or 5 days in a row, I get lower back pain. Whenever that happens, I use a Clickgear 2.0, and it works fine with the bag. it doesn't feel heavy at all.
  3. I agree with that completely, everytime they start speaking about Benitez coming to Real Madrid, I get scared....not a big fan of the man. But I have to say, given the teams he's had over the years in Liverpool he's done well, it seems to me he's never had a team that could actually compete with Chelsea or ManU to win the Premier
  4. I play jaws 52 & 58, and these are the spinniest wedges I've ever played... but I've never played Cleveland or titleist. I've used Mizuno MP-R, wilson TW9, TM RAC TP.
  5. Couple more. - Preferred lies, by Andrew Greig, "the story of one man's connection with the ancient game, and of his relationship with the people he has met and golfed over the years" - Golf on the Edge, by Stephen Cartmell, This guy plays what he believes to be the 18 most outstanding links Courses in UK.
  6. Actually, i think it's exactly the same book, with too different titles.. first published as "the downhil lie" and then as "Faiway to hell".. l
  7. Hola everyone, I'm form Madrid, Spain, and have been playing golf for some years now. I've been reading thesandtrap.com for some time now, but I never went into the forum... until a couple of weeks ago I did so searching for some more information on S&T; swing, and now I hooked
  8. I agree 100% with that. If he plays and wins in Augusta, and that's a huge if, I think we could very well have a Grand Slam this year.
  9. My favorites: - Bud, Sweat, & Tees: Rich Beem's Walk on the Wild Side of the PGA Tour. - Tommy's Honour: The Extraordinary Story of Golf's Founding Father and Son - Tales from Q school I'm about to start "Fairway to Hell" ther real story of Carl Hiaasen (great writer), to take up the game again in 2005 after quitting in 1973. It's going to be fun..
