  2. Still asking 550 for it?
  3. Yes, you are correct. My fault, I was thinking Washington State butsaid DC..Thank you for correcting me. It looks like a beautiful course, Have you ever played it?
  4. Thank you! It starts the 18th of July and ends the 23rd.. I am going up there for a week.. and hopefully advancing to match play as much as possible.. This tournament is the USGA jr am tournament. which is the tournament Tiger Woods won 3 years in a row. http://www.usga.org/ChampEventSite.aspx?id=17179869329
  5. I just qualified for a Jr. amatuer golf tournament in Washington DC. They took two people from my qualifying location. the winner shot 69, 72 and I shot my career low 74, then another career low 69. I got second out of 28 people, and i am advancing to washington on july 18th. 154 golfers make this tournament and the top 64 move on to match play which is televised! pretty stoaked for that!!
  6. How about you re-read my question bud... I asked for advice on this sudden yardage difference incase someone else had the same problems and how they fixed it.. Didnt need any of the other crap to come out, just needed a little advice and not be questioned. THANKS.
  7. I just got my brand new 710 ap2 irons, and i like them a lot, but im having one major issue with them. I seem to be hitting them a lot farther that im use to which leads me to flying the greens.. i know i just have to get use to the clubs, but does anyone have any tips for hitting the ball shorter with more accuaracy? my last clubs were callaway X-20s. i hit the 8 iron about 160, but now with the AP2 i hit the 8 iron around 175. Am i doing something with my swing to suddenly gain that much yardage between the two club sets? any help would be nice. thank you in advance!
  8. I have a XLS 3 wood and absoutely love it. I hit it the same distance off the tee as my driver, so it saves me when the driver isnt on. I think it is a very nice club, it gives off the perfect sound when you hit, if you dont hear the sound its a bad shot. it isnt a loud noise, but its one you will like to hear. I would recommend this club!
  9. 320 yard par 4. 18th hole. water on the right, bunker in the fairway and by the green. Having a decent round.. decided i will hit three wood since i am with the wind. Tee it up and let it fly. thats all i thought about. just watching it from the tee box, it looked nice. rolled up to about 2 feet and i tapped it in for an eagle. shot a 37 that day..
  10. I left a one year old 52* Vokey at one of the courses in my home town.. I called 3 times a day, and visited the course 3 or 4 times in two weeks... After the two weeks... i gave up and learned that somebody took it.. never been so disappointed in my life... i cant believe there are people out there that would do that to others...
  11. Today, we had to qualify for the upcoming tournament. I am number 2 and today I shot a 38 (+3) I hit 8 out of 9 greens. On the 9th hole I barely missed the green but got up and down. anyways, i had 20 putts. i had one double and bogey. I four putted in front of my coach. and the hole before i 3 putted for a bogey. I played well on every other part of the game.. Is there any tips or advice anyone can offer me? I greatly appreiciate it!!
  12. i finally shot in the 70's for the first time.. barely.. i went 41, 38. 5 over then 3 over. It was during high school qualifying.. i also four putted on a par 5 and took a 6... didnt realize how much that hurt until the end of my round..
  13. My best friend, the one who has looked after me for the past 3 years, is now gradulating. I decided i wanted to write him a goodbye letter. I do not know what else to include, so if you could help that would be wonderful. This is what i have so far. First I would like to say congratulations, and that I wish you the best of luck for your coming future. I am writing this to show my appreciation for what you have done to help me during my two years of high school. The second day of golf practice when we first met, I remember that day quite well. I wasn’t doing too good, and was very nervous. I didn’t have anyone to talk to, then all of a sudden you came up to me and started talking to me. This made my day a lot better, from then on you have become one of the bigger role models to me. From that you day you took me under your wing and became the bigger brother I never had. You have looked after me like I was your brother, even when everyone was making fun of me, you were always stuck up for me. I do have to admit that next year will be difficult not having your leadership on the course or field anymore, and also not running into you in the hallways.
  14. I am still in Highschool, and i would like to know what everyone thinks the best college is for golf wise. I just wanted more opinions. Thanks for the help!
  15. In my highschool tournament last year a kid got a hole in one, and his coach (and another coach) pitched in to get all of the kids small fountain pops.
