  1. Does this mean that the Nike advert was total BS and he and TW didn't really hit those shots.
  2. Best advice I can give is get some lessons, there is a lot to work on. Good Luck
  3. Sounds like you need to get yourself a solid pre-shot routine. I am sure a pro could help you with that. This is something you can hone at the range then take to the course.
  4. Yes that's the one, thanks :)
  5. I believe the pull is caused by an out to in swing with a closed face. I stand to be corrected.
  6. I have had a real big problem with flipping my hands with my driver, I have found out that my grip was to strong (left Hand only) preventing me from having a flat left wrist. once I weakened it I had more chance of creating a flat left wrist. I must admit it is still something I am working on and it's not right but it is a lot better.
  7. Make sure that your hands are not in front of the ball as it would be with an iron. line your hands up with the club head.
  8. Getting down to single figures is about your short game is or how much you can improve it not the type of ball you use. You have to turn bogies in to pars doubles into singles and cut out the trebles.
  9. Alisdair Mike and Andy have just done a Clinic in Bedforshire a long way from you I know and to late, but if you are interested they did it in conjuction with James Ridyard from golfperformancelabs.com who are based in Bedfordshire and is a S&T; friendly pro. He can be contacted at jaridyard@googlemail.com i managed to get the DVD set from him which i found to be invaluable. hope this helps.
  10. Hi nice swing young man dont worry about your backswing it's fine trying to lengthen it would create more problems than it would solve. I think the reason you feel your coming to far inside is that your hands are very close to your legs at address, try taking up your stance without a club and let your hands hang naturaly there should be about a hands width between your legs and your hands. Good luck
  11. Hi Guys Just joined up to the sandtrap and have been very interested in this thread, I have been working on S&T; for a few months now. I resently purchased the book and now have the DVDs which make it much clearer to me, like a lot of people it's very hard to find a local instructor more so in the UK than the USA it seems. Anyway i cannot be anything other than positive about what S&T; is doing for my game having worked hard over the winter months I'm looking forward to the season in a very positive mood. Keep up the good work.
