  2. Good to know, thanks.
  3. Watching some footage today got me thinking, you know how the pros just grab a bag or two of balls and hit the range before the round, well they all use different balls (Titleist, Callaway, TM etc...) so does the course offer different balls on the range or would they all just be Pro V1's?

Been to the one in Vegas, it was kinda cool, flashing lights and glow in the dark everything. I'd say it would be fun for a party or booze up, but the golf purist won't get much out of it.
  5. Yeh I look at the 150 or 100 markers and estimate distance, but at present it's educated guessing, I need some hard figures.
  6. How do you guys measure exact yardages? Was thinking of taking the shag bag to the course when it's not busy and using the GPS put some cones down. I don't trust the range with their "premium soft balls" and there aren't a lot of fields around to try this. I also got told off for trying to hit wedges at the local indoor with trackman. Apparently their golf netting isn't setup right to have a high lofted club, the ball dinged into the roof (went through a join) and nearly took out a light.
  7. Golfamania - Sega Master System Tiger 05/06/12/13/14 - PS2/Xbox 360 My faves all time, still play them regularly, shame no one has worked out how to edit the Tiger games as other EA games have various editors/mods available.
  8. I seem to always notice when pros take a warmup or practice swing, to my eye it appears they swing across the line/over the top if you will. As someone who has fought a natural slice for some time, I find it interesting if others see this or is it just my eye? If this is deliberate I'd love to know why they do it?
  9. Dan, i am not so familiar with TGM so i may be commenting out of turn here, but: The main difference with stack n tilt i believe (sure i will be corrected) is the large focus on setting ones weight forward at address, thus preventing unnecessary lateral movement, thus making the golf swing more simple for average joes and the new people to the game. If this makes them play better and enjoy the game then thats what we want. I guess the other philosiphies you speak of are traditional methods that have been used for generations. For what its worth, i believe in trying things once and if it doesnt work then fine, ive lost nothing and had a go. Most people i assume would take parts of different swings to create their own swing. Not sure if this is what your after but thought id add to the discussion. Peace
