Yeah man im in the same boat... Its hard to find someone that has the same passion for the game as i do. I guess thing to do is to join a league or play in tournaments until you find someone that has the same passion as you do

I'll try to get some up asap

I used to use a Wood Brothers Kool Kat Persimmon Wood.... I thought it was such a cool club, it was painted bright yellow so it was pretty hard to miss it Anybody use any old clubs like this?

What do you guys wear on your hands? Glove, tape, nothing? Just curious personally i wear a glove on my left hand and some tape on my right (blisters )

Hey man, I was in the same situation as you a few months ago. I couldnt decide on a set of irons. You and I seem to reach about the same score. I ended up picking up a set of the Diablo Edge irons. As much as i love these irons, i kinda wish i had spent that money on lessons first before i picked them up or even went to golfsmith to see what irons were right for me. The diablo's are really great. Havent had any trouble at all with them and the hybrids are amazing. Its near impossible to hit a poor shot with that club. On top of it all, they look pretty cool IMHO. good luck with whatever you go with

I was just wondering if any of you had the Callaway Squareway wood and if so, which model and how do you like it?
-
I've also heard of companies grinding down another companies logo and re-branding it with there own... Seems fishy to mee. but i guess we wont know till one of us goes pro lol

Im assuming you meant 7 bounce. I think the club i was looking at had 10 bounce. is that right for a lob wedge?
-
I apologize, yes it is 44*, not 45*. I dont neccesarily have to go with a diablo wedge, i was actually thinking about trying something new. and i've heard great things about the vokey. so i have one vote for a LW any other opinions?
-
I am in the market for a new wedge. Currently i play the following... PW 45* 11 bounce SW 54* 17 bounce both are callaway diablo's and although i love these clubs, I was wondering what other wedge i should get? Looks like either a GW or a LW... What loft/bounce combo would you recommend? Thanks
-
i've looked through the forums and i havent seen this question asked quite this way... Im looking to buy a new wedge and my two choices are the cleaveland cg15 or the vokey. I was just wondering what you guys play and why you like it? So what do you play?
-
After a round or driving range session, what do you guys do with your clubs? Do you keep 'em in the car, bring them in the house, etc?

my dad used to be a great golfer. key phrase, "USED to." He used to hit crazy long drives, have a delicate touch with his wedges. he took a couple of lessons and now he refuses to play golf because the instructor completely tore apart his swing... It really all depends on the instructor. If the instructor is great and individualizes his lessons, then it can help out your game, but if he thinks the same lesson can be applies to every player, then your in for a nightmare...

I played a tournament at Brown Deer a few years ago... Its a sick course, I'd love to play there again

I was just wondering what you guys pay for your golf memberships or what they cost if you dont belong to any... My home course is part of a county program, so we get discounted greens fees at 5 courses. And it costs like $35 to join this program and it only reduces the rates about $5. The main course up by me (north NJ) is very difficult to get into and costs a butt load. you need to be invited to join my a current member and get three recommendation letters from other members, you have to provide proof that you make at least $200,000 a year and i believe it costs $75,000 a year with a one time $30,000 joining fee. I mean that is just absurd. I wish we had more public courses up here

today on a par 5 i chipped in from about 45 yards out to eagle the hole. it was my first eagle and it was probably the best hole of my life

Im looking for a new golf bag. I currently have a callaway stand bag and its not really working for me. I feel like after every shot, I have to shove the club back in the bag. I bought the callaway diablo cart bag, but returned it because i couldnt justify spending $220 on something that wont improve my game... I'd prefer to get a cart bag... any suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks

I got a new set of Callaway diablo edge irons a month ago... I got 'em fresh off the shelf... I know i should've gotten the fitted, but i was too impatient. If i bring em to golfsmith can i get them fitted after i've already used them? around how much would that cost?

I recently got back from a golf trip to North Carolina. On the second day, i had the worst round of my life (not exaggerating) then on the 17th hole, i chipped in from about 35 yards out. It was my first chip in of my golf career.
