Oh geez. i had those transitions and i hated them. i too need glasses and contacts sometimes dry out too much. im back to contacts because its too bright here in So. Fla. the transitions never got dark enough.

No prob! i thought it was pretty cool too. since im just a beginner, i am always searching for ANY info that could help me out. I came accross that one and figured someone else might be interested. I hope the tips are accurate and not some schmucks giving bad advice. LOL that would suck

Hey all. This might seem like a weird post but im wondering what kind of sunglasses you use and what u would reccomend? I have a pair of Arnettes which i love, but they dont block much of the sun. I find myslef squinting even with them on. Has anyone used a pair of sunglasses that you swear by? I would love to hear what everyone recommends. THANKS!!!!

i wear slacks or shorts (it gets ridiculously hot here in Miami even in the winter) and ALWAYS a polo. Thats just my preferance. But I could really care less what anyone else is wearing. i am there to play, get better, and have a good time. The last thing on my mind is policing what anyone is wearing. you wear what you want, your perogative. House rules must be followed however. On that note, i think courses should make bikini tops and g-strings mandatory wear for all hot women.

The NBA is a circus. its great to watch just to see what moronic actions are to come from the next player. to hear an nba superstar say he hates gay people is amazing (tim hardaway). we have an individual claiming to hate a whole group of people simply because of sexual preferance. amazing coming from a black person who i am sure has been judged and suppressed most of his life because of skin color. i got one word for everyone..."LOVE" how can we hate people we dont even know. its out of control. the fights (nuggets and knicks, pacers and pistons), the grabbing coaches by the neck and threatening to kill them (latrell sprewell to p.j. carlisimo), the shootings in clubs ( stephen jackson), the hate. PURELY DISGUSTING to pay these thugs so much money!

Effortless is right. i had such a hard time with it at the beginning. tap it too hard and watch that sucker roll past the cup. i love it though. i have practiced so much with it that i feel like i need it now. LOL. it is a nice putter.

LOL. im probably lexic too for all i know. I get pretty bad sometimes. I get up, sit down, get up again, walk around, sit down. drives me nuts. I cant keep still. and when i say im going 500 mph, i MEAN im at 500 mph. I can sleep 4 hours and get up like i have had 10 cups of coffee. my wife hates it. she loves to sleep. the way i see it is, golf will either help it, or push me over the edge!! LOL

ALright. so i tired the set out and i must say they are not bad. I think i like my adams irons a bit more though. just felt more sloid in my hand. Now the hybrids and woods actually felt REALLY good. Hit them really straight and solid. The putter i wasnt to thrilled with. But i think it was more of a mental thing as i am really comfortable with my Nike. while putting i kept thinking man i miss my Nike. LOL. so i think ill keep using my nike. but i must say i was very pleased with them. i'll keep trying them out and try to get more of a feel for them. I'll try to get my fundamentals down and get a little more solid in my swing before i go back to my stiff flex. THANKS to all of you who posted and sent me PM's offering your help and suggestions. You truly make this a great game and fantastic forum.

Well, i tried slowing my swing down and tried to make clean contact instead of trying to kill the ball. amazing results. my instructor told me not to get caught up with trying to hit it harder. He did say i was swinging way too hard and had to slow way down also that a regular flex for now would be fine but that i would outgrow it pretty soon. he told me the train of thought should be instead of "imagine how much further it would go if it hit it faster.... it should be, imagine how much further if i hit slower and cleanly." He did mention the fact im adhd is also a big obstacle. Im always at 500 mph. LOL!

Actually as someone on the forum suggested, i will try out another set i have and meet with another instructor and see what they suggest. Can't hurt. That way i eliminate all doubt. J
