  1. A&D; ointment is the key if you ever start chafing. When you get home throw a little on where it hurts and it will clear it up in a day. Its great stuff, you get instant relief!
  2. Great, can get a hold of a XLS for 40 bucks... Thats beats the crap out of spending 150-200 for a driver, thanks Crazy!
  3. So the recommend the Cleveland Hi bore over all the clubs you mentioned? Why is that? It seems to be the cheapest out of the bunch, but I guess thats not always a bad thing... Which one would you suggest, the XL, XLS, monster XL, or monster XLS?
  4. That's exactly what I am looking for, something with some forgiveness... So any square shaped driver, and something with a higher loft... What about the Cobra's? It also doesn't have to be a new driver, it could be a lightly used... Any brands you would suggest? What kind if shaft should I be looking for or avoid?
  5. I just really started playing golf this year (instead of once every couple months, it’s a couple times a week), and I am looking to buy myself a new driver. I have a slice that I am working on getting rid of, and was wondering what a good beginner driver would fit my needs best. So far I have just had hand-me-downs’ and would really like to get into a modern driver. I have been doing my research and found that Cobra drivers have a big sweet spot and can be bought with an off set to help the slice... I am not really looking to spend more than 150-200 dollars, so any suggestions would be great.
  6. I have a set of Ping Eye's and would love to have a set of Ping Eye 2's. Is there really a big difference in the two? I have been reading that the Ping Eyes are for a lower HC player which makes me think I should get a set of the 2's.
  7. I find yellow balls harder to find than white... I do feel your pain though, it has happened to me a time or two.
  8. What club do you guys use for chipping? I have been using 58* and have been doing pretty good with it but sometime my accuracy is better with my pw...
  9. I practice a lot in my backyard. I have a nice size yard with some bushes and trees I aim at. I can't putt but at least I can get a good feeling for distance and accuracy.
  10. Just wanted to say hello. I have already picked up a lot of great information on this site.
  11. Well I went out in the backyard today to practice (didnt have time to go to the driving range), and after watching some videos online and listening to what everyone had to say I am swinging MUCH better now! I could actually chip and pitch straight again, my swings were nice and smooth, and most importantly I felt comfortable again. Thanks for all the help you guys!
  12. I really don’t think so, I think maybe the extra height from the shoes might be screwing me up. I am going to the driving range today to practice some nice easy swings.
  13. True, my in-laws live on a couse and the owner said he would give me lessons for 15 bucks and just play with me, and help me along the way. I think the next time I am there I will take him up on his offer. The course is in a small town, and it has no driving range so I dont know how just playing with me would help but for 15 bucks why not right?
  14. To start I just started playing golf constantly this year and finally got use to hitting my irons straight and got comfortable with them. I started getting birdies and pars feeling really confident in the game. Well I always golfed in regular tennis shoes, so I decided to go out and get a pair of golf shoes to reward myself. This is where everything started to fall apart. Everything feels weird; I am chunking the ball, blading the ball, slicing the ball, missing the ball, even getting blisters on my hands... I have tried and tried to get use to golf with golf shoes but it’s not happening... If I golf in my regular tennis shoes I do fine but once I put those golf shoes on it just goes down hill... Has anybody ever had this happen to them? Should I just sell the golf shoes and play in my tennis shoes?
  15. I want lessons bad, but I have a baby on the way so it might have to wait till next year.
