  1. 7 Woods are amazing and so easy to hit They can be a substitute for a 3 or 4 Hybrid or a 3 or 4 iron If you don't like Hybrids and you don't like Long irons = 7 Wood is absolute king
  2. Hi everyone, I got fitted recently for a Scotty Cameron Phantom 11 Long and I love it but the default grip (Winn Long 17-Inch Pistol) is too thin for my big hands and I need a thicker grip but the options in 17" inch long grips is minimal The default grip on my putter is 136 grams so I'm trying to find something of a similar weight. My two 17" contenders are (in no particular order): - JMX JumboFlat 17 Putter Grip = this grip is 125 grams so not too far away. My concern with this grip is its an armlock grip and I put regular style (right handed: left hand high, right hand low) so is it feasible to put the flat surface of this grip facing forward? I ask this as the flat surface looks quite large - 2ThumbGrip OG LITE 39 LONG = this grip is 120 grams so a bit lighter. Is a 16 gram difference between grips going to make a big difference? One grip that can't be a contender: - SuperStroke Zenergy Tour 3.0 17" = this grip is only 93 grams so it's far too light and also this grip is incompatible with SuperStroke's weight system so one cannot add weight Does anyone have any experience, ideas or thoughts on this scenario? For the grips that are 125 grams and 120 grams, can you add more weight somehow to get close to the original weight? Cheers!
