  1. I have decided to go with Adidas this year and was looking at the Tour 360, and the Powerband 3.0 as my primary choices. I have tried on the Tour 360's and they fit perfectly. The feel is great around my foot, this is something I am really looking for, as I want to start walking more. I also want a shoe that can hold up to my use, about 5 rounds a week. I have heard 90% positive reviews from these shoes and wanted to see if anyone had some more first hand experience with them. I know that they feel good in the pro shop. However, I said the same thing about my last set of Nike's that simply "hurt" after 9 holes on a cart. Right now I wear 2010 Nike TW for riding, and FJ Ultralites for walking. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  2. I hardly see people with 3 irons anymore. I am an irons player and one of the few that even carry a 2 iron. As for the wedge I agree with most of the responses here. The only time you should need a 60° is if your hitting onto an elevated green or short sided and can't get spin from your lie. A 60° will add strokes to most golfers game simply because unless your full swing every shot it is a very difficult club to control.
  3. MX-19's were my first set and I loved them. Never personally hit any of the ones you listed but all good brands.
  4. If your looking for a 56.14 and a 60.10 they're just sitting in my garage.
  5. I got them cheaper on Globalgolf.com (open box) but yes GPP is where I got most the clubs in my bag at.
  6. A forgiving driver would probably help a lot. You can pick up a good used driver for under $100. I personally still find it hard to keep a good mental state of mind if I have a bad drive off the tee. For cleaning your clubs, I always have a wet towel anytime I play or practice. Just use some pressure and they will come off in several passes.
  7. I just upgraded to the VR wedges but I loved my SV Tours. If you want spin I'd say go Vokey. Thats just me, simply because I personally spin the ball enough as it is.
  8. Even going into 15 and had to stop due to thunder and lightning. Figures.
  9. Haha. Well I ordered them from GPPgolf.com for $389.99 and like $10 Shipping. In the past they always left them on my porch, I just hate that I have my league at 4:30 and FedEx comes anywhere between 10am and 6pm. Decent size window there. At least I'll be able to have the whole weekend to practice with them.
  10. I agree with most everyone on here, that it's all about how they feel in your hands. I hit about 100 balls with the split cavity's before I bought them. Hopefully will be using them by the end of the week if FedEx is on time.
  11. Scotty Cameron Studio Design Grip for my Newport 2. The feel is great.
  12. 23, been golfing since age 5. Yet to "learn" this game.
