  1. Valid points. Thanks. I have been with out a 52 I finally bought one.
  2. Ok, so the play is bump and run
  3. I have been using a 60 degree wedge around the green. I have been pretty accurate with it. Just wondering if going down to a 52 would make sense ?>
  4. Yes they said PD soft, I did not notice much difference with the irons. I was hitting the Maxfli revolution solid balls before. I would say the distance off the tee is about the same, but last time before the switch I was having a bitch of a time getting off the tee (bad slice). I played the Nike and the slice went away (but i highly doubt it was the ball). Around the green the nike stuck when it hit which is what I am looking for.
  5. Just bought a box of Nike Power distance soft balls. First time I played and did not lose one ball. I liked it, around the green my chips tend to run more with other balls and I was looking for something to allow for the ball to stop more. Seemed to work out really nice.
  6. Thats fantastic, congrats. I finally did the same, and started to take it more seriously this year. My goal was to break 90. I did that this past Sunday with an 89. Now the real test is how my next round goes.
  7. 29.99 wow.. thats insane 1.99 for android. (again not to make it a phone thing)
  8. Not to high jack the thread, I am on Android. I am using Skydroid. Works really good.
  9. Not sure how good or bad the scale at Dicks sports is, but I was trying out a 6I and had 76 mph on club, not sure if that is stiff or reg for irons.
  10. I just went to dicks and hit the only two lefys they had 6 irons. My swin speed was constant 76. Should I go regular flex? Or is t to hard to tell on an iron. I was pulling everything (draw)
  11. I used to race motorcycles. I would drop $500 minimum per weekend, on tires, gas, travel expenses, food. Ohh wait, I forgot entry fees at 200 per weekend. Golf is a pittance compared to that complete utter money pit.
  12. LOL I feel your pain. I got a set of mx-23's :) .
  13. ok cool, I still need to figure out if I want to get a new set or not.
  14. I was actually looking at either the nike machspeed irons or the cobra s2. Although I currently have some mizuno mx-23 which apparently are really good.:) just not "mine" I inherited them
  15. yeah that is what everyone has said to me that they really are fantastic clubs. i guess thats what i will do actually get them fit to me. Save the cash. I mean I do hit them pretty well, maybe a regrip and what not.
  16. This is a really good question, I also would like to know as well. What are the benefits to these types of clubs? I am currently using some inherited Mizunos MX -23's. Which are ok, but they seem to be custom made for the previous owner. I tried out the Nike Machspeed irons and they felt very good fast off the club and got high real quick.
  17. when do they sales usually start on 2010 clubs? Looking to get a new set of irons.
  18. I have a hard time hitting a put that breaks right to left (i am a lefty). I either miss the cup left or right every time and i am left with a 5 -10 inch putt. Any ideas on angle of attack on that? Thanks. I am new to the forum, great find.
  19. hooked a 5 iron on to the other fairway (hole 16 Charleston Springs South in NJ). I was about 135 away had to split two trees, landed 2 feet from cup on third shot.
  20. Played Charleston Springs South in NJ, shot a 95 yesterday.
