Ok, so i am extremely confused. I have played golf a total of 7 times. the first time i played I shot a 111. It leaves me completely shocked that in the 6th time I shot a 90, I went out today and shot an 86. I dont really understand how i am progressing at this pace. I am hoping i can stay in this range and do not fall back down to a 95 or so. How consistent do i need to be before i entering a tournament a tournament.

I saw a wilson prostaff set there. They had a whole set and felt very good. They were really light which, i like and a whole set ran around 300$

i used them in the indoor range hitting into the net at academy, i felt very comfortable with them even though they were to long. I was thinking i could buy a set and have the shafts changed to fit me. Would that be a possibility.

5'2 90 pounds

i am fairly new to golf and want to purchase a iron set. I am looking at the 09 taylor made burners. I have a problem though, i am only 5'2. I have only played four times with my friend who plays for the school. My last game i shot a 90 he told me i was playing great. I really liked it so now i am looking in to a set of clubs as i know this is something im obssesed with. These are supossed to be very forgiving which is one of the main reasons im looking at them.If anyone has any experience with these or another set that may be good for me your input would be much appreciated, thanks.

you cpuld try nike pd soft balls. They carry very well and fly very straight.

I use to have trouble driving a long way.I started playing at a different course that had a lot of water. This forced me to hit it far or i would lose my balls i now hit about ten to twenty yards farther.

slow your swing down, and get it going straight. Gradually start swinging harder until it redevelops which should come pretty quick if you are shooting low 80's.

hole 16 par 5 skinny with trees everywhere. Hit a very good drive shot dead even where the dog leg turned. I pulled out a 3 hybrid and hit a crap off center shot like 125 yard or something (at the time i didnt no woods could be used on the fairway) since it was only my fourth game. My friend told i could use a five wood which i was almost sure was gonna give me no loft. Next thing i know i hit it about 180 and it rolls to about five foot from the hole. I was amazed i tapped in and had my first birdie. Not only that but i ended up shooting a 90 in only my fourth game.
