As I mentioned in the above post, you have to look at what was happening in the time that this was written to interpret it accurately. This was a strict call to obedience. Before they did the work of building the tabernacle, God first called Israel to the work of simple obedience. Basic obedience is a pre-requisite for doing work for the Lord. You can take it and enjoy it if you want. If you don't take it, it is not going to damn you or condemn you.

My cavity back gap wedge that came with the set broke and I'm planning to replace it with a Vokey 52*. I've tried out a friend's vokey 52* and my dad's cleveland 52*, and for some reason I just can't hit a "speciality" gap wedge well at all. The club feels heavier, clumsiery, and more prone to hitting it fat. Also, when I feel like I hit it good it only goes 110. A normal gap wedge for me is 135. It doesn't have that same piercing flight as my cavity back wedge has. What's the deal?

I'm a right hand player, and I've been putting left hand low since I picked up the game. However, I never know exactly what position my right elbow/arm should be in. Should my forearms be parallel? Should my right elbow be tucked in close to my right hip? Should my elbow be pushed out away from my body, like Jack Nicklaus? What are you feeling in your setup or stroke while putting cross handed?

When I look at the players on tour, they all have a unique setup and stroke. This brings me to the question: what makes a good putter? Is it the ability to read greens and match the speed to hole putts? Is it the mental attitude on the greens? Setup? Also, when you're putting is hot, what are you "feeling?" Confidence matched with ___? Or is it just confidence?

I'm going with a dark horse: Rickie Fowler. He had two top 10's at the beginning of the year, but has since lost a little of his form. If he gets off to a hot start on the first 4 holes, he could go all the way.

Do y'all feel pressured to play to play at the same level you dress? Personally, when I'm rocking my Oakley / Titleist gear, I feel like I need to shoot in the low 70s. However, when I play at a muni in shorts and a frumpy polo (not tucked in) I feel like I could shoot 85 without getting any "poser" looks.

What's your course style? Trendy Oakley & Puma polos? Thin striped polos? Shorts or pants? Brown shoes or black/white shoes? Colored belt?

If ya'll had the option to buy an off-brand, yet same quality polo as Nike, Puma, ect, would you buy them for $20. Given that you like the style. Or is the brand name a huge influence on your purchase decision?

Same here - I refuse to pay over 25 for a shirt; which means I wait for them to go on sale. However, what happens if Puma golf decided to sell their polos for $25 instead of $80. It seems like they could sell 4x the amount of shirts, and also kill their competition at the same time. ya?

While working for a promotional products company, I often did research into finding Chinese manufacturers for products. One of the products I looked into was polo shirts. Here's the breakdown from my research: Cost: 1,000 pieces: $7.21 Shipping / pc: $0.30 Total cost per piece: $7.51 Factoring in that the major golf clothing companies are manufacturing 10,000 pieces per run, this would bring the cost down to $6.43 /pc Now look at how much they're charging (taken from golfsmith.com) Puma: $80 Nike: $80 Travis Matthew: $80 Footjoy: $72 Adidas: $65 Obviously they have a lot of marketing costs and player endorsement costs to factor in, but seriously - these guys are marking polos up 900 - 1,200% I see a HUGE opening for a golf clothing company to come out there with $15 - $20 quality/cool polos.

You have the makings of a good swing. I see some good positions on the back swing. 1. As mentioned above, work on balance. Practice swinging and holding your finish for 3 seconds. 2. Feel like your chest covering the ground the ball until way after impact like Dustin Johnson. (You're standing up through impact. 3. Feel like 85% of your weight is on your right foot on the back swing, and 98% is on the left leg at impact. This would be a good start. Post progress videos

Oh crap, that's gnarly! I played once in spikeless shoes (without using any of my woods) a week ago, and practiced two times in spikeless shoes. That's the only time I've played or practiced in 3 months. I'll give it another month or so and try then. I like the balancing exercise and ice afterwards - makes sense. Is it a good idea to put a heat pad on it while I sleep to keep it from getting cold? Any recommendations for shoes? Do you think Ecco shoes would help create less torque when I start playing again?

Thanks for the help man! Seriously, I went to a doctor a couple weeks ago and all he said was, "that's a weird injury. Just ice it a couple days and you should be able to play by next week."
