  1. I may be wrong but I heard somewhere that the x-out balls and practise balls are slightly different. the x-out balls are the ones that have the sight "defects" that was mentioned in previous post. The practise balls are ones that have lower compression than the regular normal golf balls. Does this still hold true ?
  2. jeffgladchun, you are one lucky guy. It is definitely a good opportunity. I am jealous too..... Maybe, now we can also have live commentary on the forum ...
  3. 1USD = 9,047 Rp. Thus Rp 115,000,000 is estimated about USD 12,711. hope this helps
  4. Very good information. If I may, i would add a couple for points. For a draw, you may want to place the ball slight back in the stance, or a little back of centre. You swing like what Britboy has indicated, should be along your body line, not along the target line. After impact, you should feel your right hand overtaking your left. I have a post on my blog on executing a draw shot. I am not sure if I am allowed to post the link here. Mod, can you please advice. Thanks Happy golfing....

  6. Read somewhere that Phil is going to use the new Callaway square driver FT-i for 2007. Wonder how he will do with the square head ? Giving that he is driving so well now, dont know if it is such a good idea to swing unless he has tried and felt FT-i is better
  7. Personally, i take the list with a pinch of salt. It is a good guide to see what clubs are available and the technology that the clubs are using. When come to choosing one for myself, i will want to make sure it suits my swing and that I can hit it well. I won't mind getting an older generation club if it suits me well. My thots
  8. I dont usually back spin the ball and is very hard to control the amount of back spin. You may realise that to produce backspin on the ball, it depends on more than the technique. It depends on the ball used, the grooves, the lie you are in, the grass condition the ball lies on and of course the green condition. It is tough, but it is good have when situation arises...
  9. Hi everyone I am so glad I can finally post my introduction post. First, I sincerely think this is a great forum you have here. My name is Desmond and I live on a tiny, sunny island of Singapore. I have been playing golf for quite a few years and am learning about the game. I just love the game. I join this nice community to learn more about golf and to make new friends. And also to share my experience in golf. If you are or will be around this region, we can meet up. Cheers
  10. Chingali, thanks for the clear explanation. I am also using the standard lie that I grab off the shelf.
  11. I do not keep track of the bandwidth I use a month as mine is a unlimited plan. In my country, I paid about $35USD
  12. yea, it really depends on the club and its members, i suppose. But usually, i would be in my collared tees. Previously, where I golf, only collars polo tees are allowed on the course. But since Tiger Woods made popular the mock neck tees, they are now allowed on the course as well.
  13. My home club websites - here and here If anyone of you are in or coming this region, we can arrange for golf
