  1. i guess i would have to try them out before buying them but going from 18 to 1 in less than a month is unbelievable to me but all the power to you if this is truthfull speaking.
  2. also after looking at some of the mizuno prices i think im going to have to go with something a little cheaper in price range but it all depends on how i hit them, if i hit them really good then i might think about spending the extra money on them.
  3. still to much, if i were to buy them they better be like magic.
  4. aren't the mp-32 more of a blade iron, do you think they would be to advanced for me, i'll have to try them out and see
  5. $1,500 for the driver, $650 for the fairway wood and $5,500 for a set of irons!!! I think I will stick with what I have.
  6. Ok guys I think it is time for me to upgrade my Taylormade RAC HT irons, my handicap is around 13 and I was just wondering what irons I should try out that will help me in the long run. I'm trying to move away from the game-improvement irons as it feels like I just can't get any further with the HT's anymore and they are game-impovement irons. I'm thinking about the mizuno mp-30, rac lt and callaway x-18. Are there any others I should try out that have worked well for you guys?
  7. Post 18 minutes ago, Thailand-born player Thongchai Jaidee has received the foreign player invite and Camilo Villegas has been left out. Here is the article: http://msn.foxsports.com/golf/story/5449894
  8. that may be true for any normal person that wants to get the forged irons but these are made to tiger's specs and i doubt they have much offset.
  9. Erik makes a good speculation.
  10. Interesting, i would like to know how well they hold up with the v1, blackmax and b330. I bet they are pretty similar to the blackmax since taylormade owns maxfli.
  11. Nike did it as well making 2004 sets in 2004. Here is a link to a european site that still has them for sale as well as a link to a ebay auction showing the certificate of authenticity. http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/652-1372...f38308af12ca7c http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ategory=115280
  12. i realize that, i wouldn't touch them with a 10ft pole, but i believe the purpose of the limited set was for collectability reasons, they ran for like $2,300 just for the irons or something like that
  13. Didn't nike make a limited edition set of irons that were to the same spec as Tiger's?
  14. Well I won the r7 425 on ebay yesterday, ended up being $292.00 shipped brand new. I've already hit the demo on the range but when mine comes in i'll let you know how I do on the course. Couldn't pass it up being over $100 below retail.
  15. I think the taylormade rescue mid hybrid is a great choice for only 99.99 for the steel shaft. Its a great club and very easy to hit.
  16. so i guess no one has tried the consistent tee. these tees like the zero friction tee in that they are very hard to break and last a while, but they are also set at a certain height so your ball is set up at the same height all the time for consistency. the bad thing is i think they only offer it in one height and everyone has there own height that they are comfortable with, but the consistent tee happens to be the perfect height for me and my driver is 440cc so it may work well with others who have driver heads around 400-460cc. they claim to get 10 yds more carry and 15 yds more roll but i have yet to verify this. i just like the fact that my height is always the same and this allows me to be more consistent off the tee. just my own little review of the consistent tee. they are alittle more expensive being 4.99 for 10. That being said i still like the zero fiction tee and i played them for a while and they are tough as nails, i still have 44 of my original 50. I still use them when i want a different height on my tee shots like on windy days and such.
  17. i love the zero fiction tee as well, those sucks last forever. i ran accross another tee the other day, its the consistant tee. It allows you to set the ball up at the same height every time. has anyone tried these and what do you think? www.consistenttee.com
  18. thanks erik, just wanted to make sure im not weird. When it comes to golf i want to be able to play my best game, i could care less about my manlyhood of having a stiff shaft driver when it comes to golf, im not trying to impress anyone with my equpment only with my game.
  19. glad to see im not the only one like this
  20. I just want to make sure im not weird, but I use a regular flex driver and stiff flex irons. I just find this to be the best fit for me. Is this unusual?
  21. i dont know if this is old news or not but i ran accross it today. http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniont...0callaway.html
  22. These are very good responses that I will be relaying to my co-worker. I'm like all of you and agree that bigger companies do more to improve there equipment. I use taylormade and have to say that there is a difference between using taylormade equipment and pinemeadow equipment. I have a set of pinemeadows clones and my taylormade set is so much better. My co-worker just doesn't understand why i would spend 350 dollars on a r7 425.
  23. ok now this is just a debate, im all for the namebrand stuff, but what if he were to put a shaft that fits him on the ram head? what makes the namebrand and offbrand stuff so different?
  24. Ok guys alittle debate here. My co-worker and I were just talking about drivers and he said why pay 300-400 dollars on a driver when you can get a ram driver for 30 bucks. He uses a ram driver and can hit it just as far as everyone with namebrand high dollar drivers. What is ya'll take on this and explain why you think this. I'm going to go up to golf galaxy sometime this week and but this to the test.
  25. i'm vice president of operations for an engineering firm and can pretty much check the site out at any time
