  1. I absolutely love my driver. It doesnt seem to be a huge brick on a stick for a 460cc driver. I have no problems working the ball and it works well for me. I had to get a very stiff shaft though, I ended up getting the Fujikura Pro95 which is really heavy and stiff.
  2. Thanks. Yes I do go to Florida for winter :) but I am back and am freezing except for the last week its been ok. I have a couple older Vokeys but the grooves are worn. Im afraid the spin milled will be way to much spin so Ill just get some 200 series. How do you like the oil can finish? How does the whole rust thing with those work? Anyone on tour playing with oil cans?
  3. I am buying some new Vokeys but am debating if I want to get the spin milled wedges. Do any of you have them and if so do they really spin alot more, because I have quite a bit of spin now and wondered if they would spin the ball to much?
  4. He is only using the Titleist irons because they havent worked with him yet for the Callaway irons. He also said a switch to Odyssey putters is a definite. So Im sure here in the next week or so Ernie will be playing his whole bag Callaway.
  5. I have the Titleist 905R and love the way the ball comes off the face, no cons for me. I used to have the Taylormade R5 Dual but I didnt feel I hit that as well plus I hated the tinny noise it made.
  6. I watched the first episode, but I DVR'd tonights. Guess Ill have to watch it now as it sounds like it was a good one.

They sure were talking about how difficult it was. Add in the wind and it becomes one of the toughest stops on tour. Camilo played excellent through the "Bear Trap" with 2 birdies and a par. I agree it could be very close to USGA set-up for a major.

Yeah he definetely has the power Once he gets his swing worked out and gets his putting together, I think he will be alright. That and patience.

He has been working on making his swing a little tighter at the top and he is trying to be able to work the ball more. However I think that if he could control his power a little bit better, he will have no problems out on tour. When he gets his control and power in sync I dont see him having troubles for very long. Plus he is still very young, plenty of time to get everything going for him, just needs to be patient and it will come.

I am very dissapointed that Camilo didnt win today, I thought he would run away with it, but it just wasnt meant to be. But I am happy that Wilson took it down, he seems like a good guy. I think him, Camilo, and Boo will have one heck of a career on the tour and wish them the best of luck. I just seen that when they were talking about it, It was obviously a mistake and wasnt on purpose. I bet the caddie was very relieved that Wilson won!
  11. I think my best equipment purchase has to be my new set of Titleist 735.CM, I was debating between them or the 695mb but went with these after reading the great review on this site. I am very happy with the performance of these irons, I wasnt excited to go to a "cavity back" club but the workability and feel is still there with them.

Anybody else hear about the 2 stroke penalty Mark Wilson had to take because his caddie told the playing partner what Mark hit on the hole off the tee?
  13. Welcome to the forums, Im new here myself. Congratulations on your #1 spot on the golf team! Good luck this upcoming season.

Camilo's 3rd shot from that terrible lie impressed me, he used alot of strength to muscle that ball from the rough. It was a great shot, then his first putt I thought had a chance, but he will be ready in the morning, he is past due. GO CAMILO!

What did everyone think of Boo Weeley's choke putt on 18? Mark Wilson sure caught a good break with putting for par on the first playoff hole! I hope Camilo Villegas can pull out his first win tomorrow morning!!!!!!
