Shot a 75 (40/35) on a par 58. First time ever shooting sub-bogey golf!!! New putter working like a charm. Couple of lost balls as the round was at night kept it from being even better.

Tried my new one out for the first time last Wednesday. Felt great! Jury is still out on whether its helping with improvement but there was definitely one less thing for me to think about during my pre-swing routine.

I have a M1911A1 that my father-in-law gave to me when I married his daughter... guess he thought I needed some protection. Not sure from who though!?!

If You DO NOT Take Lessons, Why?

I just don't have the time. Being a graduate student with two kids and a wife I barely have time to play let alone take lessons! Someday! The nice thing is I have seen significant improvement this year just through playing as much as I can. -
I just had a complaint from the last hole played today. One of the people in the group in front of us finished then walked off the green to his bag and proceeded to put everything away (I assume tees, balls, etc.) literally a foot or so off the green. I couldn't hit because he was in the spot that I hit to when I miss hit. I couldn't get his attention as his back was too me and I didn't want to yell because it is a small course with people teeing off both to the left of me and almost directly behind me. Wanted to say something after we finished the round, but of course they were gone by then. Don't know that I expect anyone here to have anything useful to say about the situation just wanted to vent.

Just wanted to say Hi to the community. Picked golf back up at the beginning of the year after a 5 year hiatus. Looking to get back into some sort of shape other than round and since I live in a place with such great weather and beautiful courses why not golf?
