  1. 1. Rocco or Tiger?

Unless Tiger hands it to him, I think Rocco might have fired all of his bullets today. I dont think he will get as favorable tee positions as he got today.

Unless Tiger has to literally drop out because of his knee, Tiger will win by atleast 2 strokes.

Rocco can't keep this up for that long.

Tiger just cannot make those putts forever.....it's gonna catch up with him....also, he always starts terribly, as opposed to Rocco, who usually pars one and sticks it close on two. It will get in Tiger's head to be down by 2 early.

I think Rocco might have a better chance than some people think.
He's a lot more laid back than a lot of the guys on tour and I don't think he'll let the fact that he's playing the "almighty Tiger" get inside his head.

I dont think the "tiger factor" is going to be much an issue- I don't imagine there is going to be many people there to even generate that atmosphere that some players fail in. Where the tees are put that determines if rocco will have a chance. If they're up, he will have a decent chance. If they are where they were on Saturday, hes dead.

Rocco outscored Tiger by two today in the crucible of the US Open final round.
While Tiger has to be the favourite - and he's unlikely to make the same bone-headed decision he did at the 13th twice - I wouldn't write Rocco off just yet. I think he'll make a decent fist of it.

what's interesting is jack fleck beat ben hogan in a u.s. open playoff and so if rocco beats tiger, it will begin the comparisons between who is greater, tiger or hogan cuz hogan could win on 1 leg while tiger couldn't

They will beat their swords into golf clubs and their spears into putters. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Old Tom Morris 2:4

The thing is, if there's only 20,000 people there (and people will show up - it's Tiger after all), they're ALL guaranteed to follow the group. It's not like there will be 52,000 people, but they'll be spread out.

I'm always for the underdog but I think Tiger will get it done by 4 stokes. Hope I'm wrong.

Come on Rocko. I recon Tiger will start badly again, and then not be able to make up the gap. He'll have an eagle put on the last to tie it and will miss. We at least i hope so. Love Rocko

It did catch up to him though, during today's round. If I remember correctly, he only had one really clutch putt today, and that would be the last hole. Yes, Saturday consisted of some luck that he cannot expect more than 2 times out of 10 but I still think a few (lesser magnitude) clutch putts can be expected. But you are right, he cannot get down early by continuing his screwups of the first holes.
