  1. I sure as hell would- and even if he does not get caught doing it the first time, he will- and he probably wont be welcome back after that. Wearing metal spikes when they are banned is basically vandalizing the green
  2. On Big berthas? Thats the same as a p wedge...just with a 10 instead of p.
  3. I have allways wondered about replacing my grips myself, can someone give me a link or a guide on how to do it? Sorry if this is too offtopic for this forum, some places this kind of slightly off topic question is frowned upon, others it is fine. I am new here.
  4. If it were me I would Ebay them in sets of 50-100-150. Ship via USPS priority flat rate. Sell all the callaways togethers, pro v1s together, and other "premium" balls together. You could do them all seperatly, but no one is going to want to buy 100 maxflis for example, so just sell the non premium (most nikes, topflight ect.) in mixed lots. I would start the auction at about 35 cents a ball. Good luck!
  5. I agree- hitting a 3 wood off the turf is tough and not worth it for most golfers
  6. I have only hit one yardage marker. The marker was about 15 feet into the rough (next to the fairway). I drove, and hit the marker before my ball bounce. It deflected right into the fairway!
  7. I really have no idea, can you please send me a pm with a price?
  8. [QUOTE=jguzz28;230149]I thought a driver and a 1 wood were the same thing.[/QUOTE Well, this says one one it and is a lot smaller than a driver. I will post a pic if you want. It is only like 200 CC I would guess but probbably way off, and hits allmost as far as my driver. Am bidding on this. EDIT- lost at last second... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=tab%3DBidding
  9. I hit a lot of good shots with this wedge, and rarely mishit with it. I use it when I dont want the ball to roll much close to the green and there is no chance of getting on the green otherwise. I don't get much spin, so if I use a sand or P wedge I roll of the back of the green a lot of the time on a couple specific holes on my home course. I know that it is a kinda risky club for me so I have played 5 rounds with it then 5 rounds without it, and had much better shots around the green with it. Same thing with my diver/1wood, I played 5 rounds with each and have to take a lot of penaltys when I use the driver, so the one wood works better for me.
  10. is that with the hybrids and the irons? In my quick browsing it looked a lot higher than that, but I may be looking at the wrong subcatagory of ideas... That is used price correct?
  11. aquariums breeding and keeping fish and esp. inverts
  12. Hello! I am new to the forum and am looking for some advice. I have been having trouble finding good info from google, so if you know some good sites please share! I am going to go out for high school golf this season but feel like I need new irons.I am a high handicapper, my guess is I shoot a little over 100. My grips are not tacky at all, and some are lumpy (like they have a pencil suck under them allmost). They all feel different. I have a set of square 2 power cavity X. Is it worth regripping these? Or should I get a used set of game improvement Irons? I don't have much to spend, as I am a highschooler and although I have a job, I dont make all that much. Just FYI, I have big bertha knock off woods (1,3,5,7) I use the one as my driver most of the time, but I also have a knight driver. I have trouble playing the clubhead infront of my hands with that club though, so I usually hit my one wood. I hit the 3 or 5 off the tee for long par 3's (like 190 yards) I hit the 5 as a fairway wood, and dont use the 7. My wedges are P, 56, and 64. Thanks for any advice! If anyone here would sell me a set of irons, I would be able to pay via paypal. Thanks for reading and any advice!
  13. Is this really something realistic or more of a joke? I have never heard of hitting a driver off the ground... I am a new golfer though
  14. Need three posts, so mine is http://www.wildcatgolfandfitness.com/golfcourse.aspx a mostly par three 9 hole, but tight fairways compared to "better" courses I have played so I think it is good training for me. And it is cheap!
  15. if you think that they play about the same as the nikes, then go ahead for sure, but I personally hate the top flight xls because I fell like I am putting a rock. I would buy some used balls on ebay over using new top flights myself.
