  1. Look on the Titleist website and search for local courses that are Titleist accounts. They should have at least one wedge by now that you can take out to the practice green. That's what I did at Harbor Town. Spent about 45 minutes with them. Walked back in and ordered. Told me I would have them by the 20th of March. Awesome wedges.
  2. Played my 714 ap2's since end of 2014. Just bought the 716 ap2's. One round and the 714's are back in the bag. Only thing I ever change is the putter. Still playing the 913 D2 10.5 x-stiff driver and fairway as well. Hate to change clubs. Putters, different story. As long as its a trisole, I'll roll it. All mental I know, but that's 1/2 of this crazy game. Have a buddy that has a different set in the bag almost everytime out, and he shots 2-3 over no matter what. But he hasn't changed putters in 4 years ? Different strokes for different folks.
  3. Had a chance to hit the 60/04 L grind about two weeks ago. Walked straight in Harbor Town pro shop and ordered a 60/04 L grind and a 54/10 M grind. Around the greens they are so easy to get the ball in the air and it stopped on a dime. Weight and feel, felt really really good. New grooves are different and spin is really good. They won't get here fast enough ! Retiring the TVD's. The new steel grey color is nice.
  4. Born and raised in KY. BUT, love my Dukies !!!! Have been a Duke fan since 6th grade. 1978. Probably the only person to ever live in KY that pulls for Duke. Live at Hilton Head,SC and get to game at Cameron at least once a year. Granted, this is gonna be a long season, but will never jump ship. Just keep remembering last year !!!!!
  5. Just had my first, ( and last ), experience with Iliac. Ordered a "Ready to Ship; alignment stick cover in Italian Red Croc. Never received any communication from them. Emailed them a week later and some guy told me they did receive my order and it would ship in 3 weeks when completed. Ordered end of July. Received a shipping notice on 8/28 that it was shipping that day. Order was finally shipped on 9/3. Received it on 9/8. The worst customer service I have ever received. If they would have been honest from the get go I would have been fine. But damn, don't lie to your customers ! Business 101 ? Needless to say, that was my last order. Bad thing is, they have awesome products. Cover is great, but the lack of service is terrible and not worth the hassle. Now I hear they are opening up a second location ? Really ?
  6. I do have a great membership and wouldn't want it any other way. Very fortunate the gentleman who owns our club, also owns 4 other clubs in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area. We can use all 5 courses for our membership. My daughter plays high school and HH jr golf. The practice facilities alone are worth my dues. We have unlimited golf, unlimited range balls, and 3 of the courses has really good restaurants. All 5 have bars. If we would play just 3 rounds a month anywhere else, it would be a more than our monthly dues. Don't do a lot of other things in the membership, just play golf. I guess I am not the social butterfly ? The retired guys live at the clubhouse. Always a card game, and always somebody to play a few holes with. There's clubs here from 4K a year to 100K a year. If you look around and spend a few minutes with the club pro, you will find the right membership for you. Depends all in what you want. In the long, for myself, a membership is a lot less expensive than paying for my daughter and I to play. We play, or at least one of us, almost everyday.
