  2. Oh? That must have changed since I last looked - I'll check it out.
  3. I can understand that. There may be some untapped international markets you could reach with an e-Book. I wanted to purchase a copy (in Canada), but found that it got too pricey - the order process was through eBay and had to buy two copies and had almost $20 in shipping. As an e-book, I could have bought a single copy and no shipping.
  4. I agree with Krupa about some rounds needing abandoning. I played one a while ago where it was going so poorly and I was not having fun. After 6 holes, I made a difficult goal for the next three holes and if I made the goal, I would continue on and if not I'd stop (I was playing alone as well). Hole 7 was great, Hole 8 was okay and Hole 9 was close. It turned around some, but just fell short of my goal. I was pleased, but wasn't enough and was getting late, so I stopped. I'm also experiencing what JonMA1 says about a crappy round following a great one. Last week I had the best round ever (93, including a 5 hole par streak) and then the next day I shot a 108. I did break 100 again last night though (98). Last year I did break it a couple of times, but it was always followed by going to back to the usual score.
  5. I find there is something very relaxing having a course entirely to yourself. I play evenings after work, so have had the course to myself multiple times. I've tried the no practice swing, but it seems to vary a lot for me. Does feel looser, but when going from a long club to a much shorter one, I lose confidence that I won't swing correctly for that club.
  6. What a jerk. I would have been angry/upset as well. I'd have been tempted to just stand there and waited for him to move. (With some obvious hands on hips, multiple practice swings, chatting with playing partners, maybe even take a seat, etc.) Picking up would not be an option at all. If he didn't understand that it would just mean an even longer wait for him - well, too bad for him as it is now his own fault.
  7. Forgive me if I missed this somewhere, but my search didn't yield any results. (New to the site and haven't found my way around completely yet :) I'm in Canada and the link from the site to buy goes to eBay, which is to buy two copies and has almost $20 in shipping. Is there any better way to get the book in Canada? Thanks, Bryan
