I see on some advertising for clubs, the offset is stated for each iron. Where exactly is this measured? Cheers

This is from about.com...

"Offset is the distance that the forward side of the neck/hosel of the clubhead is set in front of the bottom of the face of the clubhead."

I do believe some manufacturers may measure differently.
