I've been playing 2-3 years.
But this year was my first year on the team and I came from not even on the lineup to number 1.

I was more towards 6-7 at the start of tryouts.

Play every day for 3 months and try not to improve, it's impossible.

My problem was putting, I had almost 40 putts a round. Playing got my stroke down to perfection and also your imagination grows. If putting is your problem, playing is the best way to improve. You just started your season, you'll see your scores come down, especially with competitive play.

Im sure i'd be down in the sixes right now if I could put together Solid back nines.

Ive had 3 front nines in the (+1) (+2) Range = to a 4.4 actually

and then a fall apart on the back.

      I voted "Decent Weather Golfer". I was going to describe my general rules...but then @saevel25 did it for me so I'll just copy his, with one addition: Temp: Above 45 degrees (pending wind at the low end).  Below 90 degrees. Weather: On and off rain, I am ok. I may not go out by myself, but I am not skipping a tee time if the weather is just meh. T-storms, or torrential downpour, then it will be a game time decision. Snow is out. I will never play golf when it is that cold out.

      All weather, but very rarely if it’s pouring. Some rain is fine. Wind is a more no-go than rain. Especially wind and rain. I’d rather play in cool light drizzle than 80° F+ and sunny. My body is not designed for hot weather. My perfect conditions are 60-70° F and cloud cover. If it’s a bit nippy I can wear more clothes. I can only remove so much clothes if it’s 75+ and still get too hot. Warm and cloudy can work too.
