I will use any tour ball I find in the water. But only if it looks like it was knocked in that day or maybe the day before. If it's all yellow. Say hello to the chipping green.

JMO but I find the Nike Juice to be a phenomenal ball for $19.99 so I don't even bother with anything else.

I've used all sorts of balls before. For me at least, the higher priced balls (such as titleist or nike) work pretty well for me. I would have never thought different brands of balls could be so different, but I can definitely feel the difference between a titleist and a range ball. Having said that, I'm not all that picky when it comes to what ball I'm playing and usually just play with whatever I happen to fish out of my bag. I can still hit good shots no matter what ball I'm playing.

So as to answer your question, if your budget is tight or you just don't want to spend a lot for a pack of expensive balls, by all means keep at it with your trusty pinnacles.

    • I haven’t really filmed in a while. Starting to feel like my body is close to being at full strength again, but I am also 65! I played a few round and my distance is down as expected. Here are a 6 iron and driver swing. My grip is a bit weak in these so I’ve focused on that the last few days. I went over my Erie notes. I’m trying to swing down from the top and not out. I want my weight to start shifting forward at about P3. And I want to push my left hip back in the downswing, which I was not successful in these swings. Ball flight has been pushes or pull draws with the irons and fades with the driver. Looking at these swings I can see why. I just need to change the picture.
    • I flipped the video above but here it is again so you see the flipped version, too.
    • Things can go awry quickly on that hole.
    • I have played that course a lot. Mostly scrambles/outings. I enjoyed the read and could picture each hole and got nervous thinking about number 5. That hole is scary. 200 yard layup off the tee?
    • Even though you didn't score well, take solice in the fact you hit the longest drive of the year! 😏 I enjoy following your rounds and can imagine the scenario.   Thanks for sharing
