There was another thread that had a poll around May but it is closed now. This forum has since had a lot of new members (i.e., ME) and with the elections about 2 months away, I felt the time was right to see where people stand on their choices. Please let's not get into mud-slinging and calling each other out (or, at least, let's keep it to a level that will keep this thread open and active without having to be moderated).

The choices in the poll are pretty self-explanatory, and I didn't include a choice for "right down the middle of the fairway" because while in golf some of you may do that, in politics most people favor one side over the other.

THE POLL CHOICES ARE FOR A RIGHT-HAND GOLFER ! ! ! LEFTY'S PLEASE VOTE AS THOUGH YOU ARE RIGHT-HANDED (or else your slice, which is to the left will count in the poll as being to the right).

There are several other threads that are politically charged, and they should be continued to be visited and posted to; my aim for this is to more fun than those others, so let's TRY not to get TOO serious! However, if you vote, please at least make a post explaining your position; I did not make this a public poll by mistake. I am hoping iacas can change it into one.

As is probably obvious if you have been following the other threads, I tend to speak on the right-wing side of the political spectrum. I have some friends who SLICE but I tend to be more online with FADE, although sometimes I get awful close to the rough!

Cute, I like it. Funny that "straight down the middle of the fairway" or slight fade/slight draw hits the green first.

Darn!

I play a fade in real life (so that's what I selected without thinking), but I would be a draw in this poll. Wish I could recast my ballot.

It doesn't matter which way you hit the ball when the entire course is a hazard.

    • I've been putting whilst looking at the hole and it's definitely helped my distance control
    • I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers
    • is it though?????? "Millions of fans"?????
    • Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.
    • So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
