Lol! Well I haven't practiced the parrallel parking yet. Hopefully I'll be good at it. Of course there's only a couple of places in my little town to do it anyways.

Its not always how you drive the ball, but how it arrives.

I just got the biggest dissapointment of my life today.

An old thread, but im bringing it back up.

I went for my roadtest today, and in Manitoba there are stickers on your liscense plate that indicate when your insurance for your car expires. As the instructor is evaluating the car to make sure all the lights are working, he says he will be right back and he goes inside.

He gets me out of the car, and tells me that the stickers are on the wrong side of the liscense plate, so He told me I couldn't do the test!!!! Like COME ON!!! I've been waiting for about a month now, and now I have to wait 10 days to take it again.

Aw...I'm sorry, but life gets even more disappointing than that.

I was blessed with amazing parents. They bought me a 1987 s10 blazer for $1000 when I was fourteen. It had a perfect body, just needed a fresh paint job and new divers side fender. The agreement was that I had to pay for the parts to fix it. The fender cost me $60 and the whole paint kit cost $150. This coming spring I'm going to sand it down and prep it for the paint. Been looking foward to using my new paint gun. None of this is hard for me to do because I've spent the last 8 years of my life working on cars and engines. I recently took up welding and body work and am getting a lot better. I'm also fortunate that my dad has worked on cars his whole life (46 years this month) and can literally fix anything as long as he has the tools, which he almost always does. I get my permit in March '09 and get my liscence in Oct. '09. My parent will pay one year of insurance and then I have too. Gas is up to me which means I have to get a job this March, which I was planning on doing anyway.

Actual Golf Quote: "It's not how you drive, it's how you arrive"

LOL because even though this is an old golf saying, it also applies to your driving! Drive safe and if you God forbid are about to hit someone, yell "Fore" or they'll revoke your license... Sorry for the cornieness, but it's a Saturday night and my parents and 3 and 2 year old are doing Kareoke on our "Magic Mic." The voices sound like someone let the dogs out...
