The new Survivor starts tonight. And it's in HD finally!

I never watched before I met my wife 3 years ago and she got me hooked on all of this reality tv crap! We watch them all. Well, she does, I watch about half!

I haven't previewed anything online yet to see who is going to be on so I'll be going into tonight clueless.

But, did I mention it's going to be in HD?!?!?! It should look pretty good on my 52" Sharp!

Northwestern 3-, 5-, 7- and 9-wood;

I stopped watching Survivor a long time ago. The winner rarely has anything to do with merit of any kind. It simply depends on what kind of social interactions and tendencies and personalities the various people have - which ones might have a crush on someone AND be easily duped, which physically strong person is also incredibly stupid or incredibly deceiving, whatever... I used to find it fun to see the various ways people would interact, but I get enough of that in my own life already.

Amazing Race, though, I wish that was in HD. Unlike Survivor, it's got a lot of "skill-based" merit to it and also unlike Survivor, you get to see all sorts of things around the world rather than just one island and two-second shots of the creatures that live on it.

The wife still watches Survivor, but I don't think we have room to record it tonight. Since it's two hours, it interferes with The Office and Grey's Anatomy (the wife prefers the latter to Survivor, and we both like The Office).

Maybe I'll add the series for her and record tonight's show upstairs on the non-HD TiVo. It's not two hours every week, after all.

But that's all part of what makes Survivor, Survivor. The back-stabbing, lying and having an alliance as long as it helps you. The Amazing Race is pretty cool too, because like you said, you get to see all over the world. That one's going to be starting it's new season on Sunday, isn't it?

I didn't realize it was two hours tonight, but I DO have it set up on the DVR.

Smallville starts tonight too . . .

I'm glad we have two HD dvr's because Kitchen Nightmares is on tonight as well!

      I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
