Hey, I just started golf recently (about a year ago) and definitely have not gotten my swing speed up very high. I swing a bit above 70 with my driver, 65 ish with my 5 iron and hybrid, 60 with my 7, and so on (i only have a partial set, 5-7-9-SW-3h-3w-Driver).

What clubs would you suggest that would still be useable with a low swing speed?

I'm currently looking at TM r7's, callaway X-20's, and Ping G5's.

I would say your going to want to get GI irons like the r7s, they are great, you might want to get some sort of high launch shaft to help you get the ball up, but i don't think you should get Super game improvements like the Callaway I brid or something like that because you seem to be doing pretty good for only a year under your belt.

Thanks for the advice. I am leaning towards the G5's, as those are cheap, but I haven't hit the r7's yet (my local shop doesn't carry them), and the x-20's are pretty much off due to price, considering I will probably need driver, hybrids, etc when I get new clubs.

Those should be fine, you will find that most irons in the same class(Super game improvement, game improvement) will play the same, Idk about blade/players irons though, those might play a little different.

Look at shaft fitting.
Some guy named Ben Hogan said shafts are the most important element of the club.
