titleist 690mb vs. 670mb

i have some money floating around and i want to get a set of titleist blades that are used but in great shape, possibly even just hit on the range. i have searched around the forums and found some reviews on the 690s and also some 695 vs. 690 comparisons so i am well versed in that discussion now. but i want to know how the 670s compare to the 690s and also, since there were 2 different models of 690mb irons, in 2002 and in 2005, how do u tell the difference between the years because they look identical. i really want 680's because they are smaller and have a lower ball flight than 690s, but are bigger and more forgiving that 670's

thanks but i have already looked at that and the only description it has it what type of ball flight and where the cg is

The 2002 model is 690mb and the 2005 is the 690.mb

I was in the same boat this summer and ended up buying a set of the 690.mb's. They're great irons, you can't go wrong with them. On a side note...if you buy them used have the lie/loft checked because mine were all 2-3* weak when i got them.
