ACCRA AXIV Shafts vs. UST AXIV Shafts

I know that they are both the same company, but is there a difference in playability? The new review on UST's AXIV shafts lists a price that is about 1/2 what I have been quoted for ACCRA AXIV. What gives?

I believe UST distributes ACCRA shafts in the United States. The ACCRA shafts are supposed to be made out of better materials and has a more constant taper design.

UST also will stop distributing ACCRA shafts, soon. From what I understand, a Canadian company will be now handling their distribution.

Thanks. If that is true, and it must be, is it not particulary interesting that UST now is showcasing what I believed to be ACCRA technology? Could there be more to this story? Thanks
