I currently use a Nike Sasquatch 460 Tour (9.5°, Diamana Blueboard S83 - stiff, 78g) and on a good day, no wind, I generally carry it about 250-260yds on a medium-high trajectory. (no idea how much roll I get)

If I wanted to switch to say a Titleist 905R (9.5°, UST Proforce 7070 stiff, 77g), would I get the same results?

How do various manufacturer's driver-shaft models differ in the way they affect spin-rate, trajectory, carry, roll, etc

Disclaimer: I don't have the chance to 'try' or 'test' out drivers.

How is anyone going to know if your going to get the same results. Those are two completly different clubs with different shafts, different weights, etc. For someone to come on here and tell you yes your going to hit the ball the same would be lying because you would have no idea.
As far as the shaft goes, i would think that each shaft is made a little differently for each company. They all aren't going to be the same.

That's why I'm asking what the difference

might be....for those who have used both...I don't want exact specifics. Weight-wise, there's 1g between the models I've listed and they're both stiff-flex. It's not like I'm upgrading from a regular shaft of 65g to a X-Stiff shaft of 90g...is it? It's not rocket-science!

As a general rule the combination of 905R with the UST would produce a slightly lower flight with less spin and the shaft would feel a touch stiffer to you as well. The differences in trajectory and spin are the result of how the shaft bends during the swing some bend slightly lower resulting in higher flight and more spin, some bend higher resulting in lower flight and less spin. Also the 905 head gives a naturally lower flight and spin rate than the Nike. Hope this helps!

Your best bet is to hit both on a launch monitor or at the range so you can see the ball flight and get a feel for the club/shaft combination. That's the only way to really tell if you'll see a difference.
