Just thought I'd throw this great deal out there. I just picked up a set of these wedges and I'm amazed at how well they fit my game. They are Mizuno MX950s. I thought they would be too GI for me. But for mid and high handicappers I think they are great.

They don't have super zippy grooves. They are probably not for low handicap players, or players that like to open the face a lot. But they do have very, very little offset, a nice smooth profile, a lot of forged feel and an excellent price.

I'm in no way affiliated with Rockbottom golf, but they have 3 wedge sets in stock steel (dynalite I believe) for $130. That's just about $10 or $20 more than one premium wedge. I didn't get mine there, but I got a good deal anyway.

And for any of the guys playing MX23s 25s and older sets, these blend in nicely. The specs are 51.07, 56.12, 60.08. Maybe not the best for sweepers, but they play well for diggers (I know).

I just thought I'd put that good deal out there and let those interested know about them.

They are. The mid irons in that set are pretty clunky looking with a thick topline. But if you are familar with the MX23s, these look like they were made to go with that set. Setting them in a row, there is a perfect progression in loft and offset from the short irons of th 23s to these wedges. The topline looks to be identical as well, maybe a mm thicker, but I'd have to measure that.

They also have individual MX-950 wedges for $50 with a "make an offer" option, if somebody wanted to try just one to see if they liked them.

The MX-950 mid-irons should look clunky, they are hybrid irons...

Yeah the 3 and 4 are hybrids. The 5,6 & 7 are thick hollow cavities. Then from the 8 down they are one pieces in a mid size like the 200s, 25s & 23s.
