Since I'm trying to get more serious about golf I am looking to replace my 6 year old set of acuity irons. I have a high handicap so am looking for GI irons.

I haven't been fitted for clubs yet. Really it's a budget issue (I know that being poor and playing golf doesn't really fit, but I digress), but every online customon fitting calculator has me needing:

Between +.5" - +1"
Regular to firm flex.

I recently found online a set of the Cleveland Launcher LP Irons with stiff flex and +1". The price is amazing $115 with free shipping.

What is your opinion on the LP Launchers? Some reviews say that the are not great for the high handicap golf because they are lower profile. Other reviews say they are great. What does everyone think?

Thank You
