my game isnt too terrible, it was a lot better before the first lesson, I was shooting mid to sometimes low 90s. But yea it was pretty major surgery, a transplant actually. So I am considering seeking out a different instructor for a lesson or two until he gets back.

I cant seem to grasp the standing closer to the ball thing.. I feel like I cant have a good inside to outside swing path standing so close to the ball. In my old swing I would more or less hold the club out straight then bend at the waist until the clubhead touched the ground. In my lesson he has me just let my arms hang straight down almost and I just cant seem to hit a ball like this. What is my problem?
