As anyone tried these yet? Seems like softspikes has such a grip on cleats with the Pulsar and Black Widows, but I'm intersted as to how these new Black widow tour cleats perform?

What do most of you guys use now?

I have not seen the Black Widow Tour, but I have the Black Widow in all of my shoes and love them.

I fancy getting some of these, i'm interesting in seeing how much difference there is in the two settings as well. Has anybody tried these yet?

I removed the stock spikes from my Footjoy's and install the regular Black widows and the difference was like night and day. Sometimes my stock cleats would slip on wet tight tee boxes in the AM, but the Black Widows don't or haven't slipped yet. If the Tour's are better than the original Black Widows I will switch to them. Only draw back was I stumbled while trying to pick up the flag with my putter once and the Black Widows left an "Ugly" scuff mark on the green that I like to never got fixed. Word to the wise make sure you pick your feet up with the Black Widows

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
