Weighting the grip/but of your clubs?

So I've played a few rounds lately with people who have had weights put into the grip of their irons/drivers. I have never heard of these before but the people using them were all very good players probably in the close to zero handicap range. Wondering if anyone has some info on these where to get them etc. and any feedback if you have them now.

My gf has weights in the grip of her putter but not in her irons or woods...she gets the weights for her putter grip from her golf shop so im assuming any golf store should be able to do it for you.

Bag: Corza Stand Bag
Driver: Launcher 460 Comp 9.5
Woods: Burner 3/5
Irons: TA7 Tour 4-PW
Wedges: 588 Tour Action 51*/57*Putter: Two bar blade center shaft

I believe Jack Nicklaus did this on his driver.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

Many custom fitted Wishon clubs have these weights in the end of the grip. I believe they are used to equalize the swingweight throughout the set.
