Need Some advice.. New Here

New to the board and looking for some advice. Been playing golf for almost 2 years now and really enjoy the game. Solid 10 handicap and ready to drop my knock-off irons for a new set.

I've hit several brands and the X-22 Tour feel the best to me. I hit the Project X 6.0 and they felt great but, the sales guy thought that I may prefer 5.5's. The ball flight and distance was as expected with the 6.0; 7i @ 160.

I was told the Project X shafts are very stiff and not sure the difference between the 5.5 and 6.0 as they did not have the 5.5 for me to swing.

Can anyone help me with the pro's con's of 5.5 or 6.0?

I believe the 5.5 are just a little less stiff and a little bit lighter than the 6.0. I was at a Callaway Demo Day and I usually use a Regular flexed Dynamic Gold (R300) but I loved the feel of the Project X 6.0. The 5.5 felt good too me though.

To be honest, I couldn't really tell the difference. I hit the X-22 Tours, I liked them but I liked the Callaway Prototypes a bit more.

Thanks CG031. The prototypes are a little too steep for me.

Any one else have any feedback on 5.5 vs 6.0 shafts...?
