Hat for Florida Golf

I was at the Blackwater Creek store in the Jacksonville, Florida area. As I browsed around the store I saw these Tilley hats. The salesperson said they were great hats, even for playing golf.

Based on any of your past experiences, which Tilley model hat would you recommend for summer golf play here in hot and humid Florida, particularly on days in June, July, and August when temps are generally over 90 degrees?

I have heard good and bad about the Tilley nylon and cotton duck hats in the summer time.

i have a Tilley hat and Ive had it for about 15 years and I LOVE it! i use it for fishing mostly but i will sometimes use it for golf too. its great as it has a chin strap you can use if its really windy outside, or if you dont use it, you just tuck it up inside the hat. And it has a regular neck strap too. Theyre easy to wash and keep clean too. it looks like this one:

I never liked those for heat. Very high quality hats, but just too heavy and thick.

come on now, thats a good looking hat! granted i use it for fishing 90% of the time, but they are great hats
