I'm going to purchase a Callaway Diablo driver and per their promotion can get either a fairway or hybrid for $1. Problem is, I can't decide on which.

I've currently got a 3 and 5 wood, (Nickent 4dx and Ping G10 respectively). I hit the #3 50/50 between fairway and off the tee but have found I haven't gotten consistent with it off the fairway, particularly out of the rough. I've never used a hybrid before, but from what I've read I'm thinking it may be worth a try. I'm sort of looking for something to hit on a 2nd shot with about 200-225 yards to the green. My irons are 4-SW. Anyone own either of these clubs? Otherwise, anyone with any thoughts, your input would be appreciated.

My suggestion is get a 21 or 22 degree Hybrid...get fitted for the driver and hybrid...hybrids are far easier to hit than fairway woods, in my opinion. good luck.
