Hi All,

Got a question re: golf balls

Which is the better ball: Srixon Distance or Pinnacle Gold FX Soft?

Thanks in advance for replies!

I found a Pinnacle Gold FX soft once. I played it at a crappy muni. I played rather well until I hit it OB on a horrible over-swing tee shot. I liked it.

4 wood: G10 (ProLaunch Red FW stiff)
3 -PW: :Titleist: 695 mb (Rifle flighted 6.0)

Hi All,

Neither: If your looking for a decent 'cheap' ball Noodle Softest, of Srixon AD333 Anything with the word distance, titanium, long, and etc... are typically hard and in my opinion difficult to play with

G10 (VS Proto 65 X) or 905S (speeder X) / X Tour 3W (VS Proto S) / Adams Idea Tour Proto 18* (VS Proto S) / S59 Tour, Z-Z65 Cushin (D2) / Mizuno MP-T 51-06 , 56-10, / Miz TP Mills #6 ~or~ Cleveland BRZ #5

I have a buddy that swears by the Pinnacle Gold FX Soft balls. They're actually not total rocks. They have a bit of give to the cover. I have no idea about the Srixon Distance.

Not a good rule to follow. One example is the Nike Power Distance Soft (green); they feel a little softer than the AD333s to me. (I'm rotating between both right now because of discount prices).

I'm going to try the Pinnacle, just for something different.

I played a bit with the pinnacle gold soft. I think it's a serviceable cheaper ball. OK off the putter, not too harsh off the longer clubs and it takes more spin on half shots than the e6+ I'm gaming at the moment. I don't find them that durable though a full wedge shot will graze the cover up a fair bit.

Not sure about the srixon ball.
