Playing with fam last Sunday came up to a par 3. Playing scramble style, I played my cousins "drive" since I spliced mine into a farm field (narrow fairways). His horrible shot left us about 60 yards out. He drops his just off the back of the green. I step up with my 9 iron (if I remember correctly) and make my shot. As it hits the green and rolls close to the hole my uncle says "Nice shot" and milli-seconds later...IT ROLLED IN! That's right, my first year playing and I dropped one from 60 yards! Blind squirrel, I know, but its that shot that got me through a mediocre day. Couldn't be happier.

Sidenote: My cousin and I jumped up towards each other screaming and busted our heads together. I kept the ball and now have a scar just above my right eyebrow from the UFC style GASH I sustained when we hit heads. Blood everywhere and me smiling ear to ear. Must've been a great site. So worth it!
