I just got a used set of mp52's and love them. I was shooting high 90's and now hit 85 and going lower. They are really nice. I was looking at pings and calloways until a friend demanded I try his mx 20's. One round and I was convinced. Wow... I then bid on a few mx 20 sets on ebay but no luck. I then tried the mx 300's mx 200's and 58's and 52's etc. I finally got a great dbay deal on a used mp52 set $450 . I love them. You will love them. They felt better to me than the 300's and 200's and had less offset. I loved the 58's but was a little afraid and didn't see as good a deal. The Mizunos are really nice. They are hyped up alot but my experience is they feel great, hit great, and look great. My friends have tried hitting them and they all notice how different the forged clubs feel compared to there cast clubs. I can't compare to other forged clubs. Good luck. Get what gets you excited to play and don't look back. I agonize over things like this, but now I'm happy. I'm now just wondering if they are fakes!!!!!! If they are they are really really good ones.

I second the mp 67s. They are my first mizuno irons and will take a lot for me not get mizunos next time. I believe whether someone goes with the 67, 68, 52, or 62 they can't go wrong.

In my bag.

I saw a lot of recommendations for the 57's. I am now down to the 57's and 52's. Anyone played both and could give some opinions on what they liked/disliked about each, or what their general thoughts are?

Another vote for MP57. Looks nice at address compared to the Ping G2 I had before. A little less forgiving but distance seems to be more consistant. (if that makes any sense)

I play the 57's and have hit the 52's; both are very similar with the biggest difference being price. The 57s are no longer made and if you search long enough, you can get a great deal on them

As for dislike's, I do not have many complaints. Even though both the 57's and 52s have smaller faces than what you have now, my 57s still provide a decent amount of forgiveness which is very comforting. Also, you will find that the smaller, classical iron design will demand you to swing and hit the ball better than you had to before whihc will hopefully promote a more consistent swing equating to an improvemnt in your game...
