First putt for Eagle this year

Yeah, It was sweet.

A member from another forum and I paired up for a replica course round. The 11th hole (Northern Bay in Wisconsin) is a replica of the par 5 13th at Augusta. Yep, the same hole Phil eagles from behind the pines. I hit a drive past the dogleg into the hillside. Now I've got 215 to the hole. Rae's Creek in front and treacherous bunkers behind. I hit a 22* hybrid. Nice high shot with slight draw. Ball lands hole high one foot left of hole. Left with a down hill 5 footer for eagle. Dan Drieberg is basking in the glory.

Not only an eagle with fellow forum member but on a replica of one of the classic holes in the world of golf.


A sidebar to bring me back to reality. The 10th hole at the same course is a mock up of the 17th island par 3 at PGA Sawgrass. Two wet balls later I take a triple bogey.
