I Prefer Team Over Individual Match Play

As far as I am personally concerned, and with specific regard to the PGA Tour, I am much more in favor of match play events involving teams of players rather than individuals.

Team play is just more interesting and dramatic to me. You've got near-continuous participation of all the players, including the big names, from the first tee to the final green, and the great outcomes in recent years - well, speak for themselves.

So, I get very excited when the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup events come up.

I used to play alot of local/regional 2 man team events with some golf buddies. We always had a great time. We knew that we never had a chance for "pay dirt" with us usually playing to 4 - 7 hdcps. We were just thrilled to come in 4 or 5 under.
