I got a great deal on a new method 004 putter on ebay at the weekend, just £67/$105 still in wrapping from a local pro shop.

I have only had chance to play a few holes with it this afternoon (hit a few balls on each green from different distances) so I am still getting used to it but this thing has a really nice soft feel to it and a really nice sound too.  The weighting doesn't feel quite as good as my red-x but like I said, i haven't had chance to adjust to it yet.  What I did notice is that I was leaving (very) long putts short.  From reviews I have read and from message boards most people say it has really helped with lag putting and they rarely leave putts short any more, this surprised me, I'm sure I will adjust to it.  Overall it seems like a quality putter and am looking forward to my first round with it tomorrow.  I even like the original grip on it (I have heard complaints about it not feeling nice and being too thin)

I got my 001 last week. I love it. It really does get the ball rolling quicker.
