I drove from the South Shore of Long Island to Myrtle on Labor Day last year and it took me about 12 hours. It took a little longer coming back because I hit traffic around Baltimore and DC. I set the cruise control for about 10 miles over the speed limit and had no trouble. It's not a bad drive.
