New Golfer, Need Irons advice

Hey all,

I used to golf a little in high school. I always wanted to take it more seriously but didn't have the money. Now that I am 25 and have a career I can actually afford to get into the sport. I previously had an EXTREMELY cheap set of clubs that are very bad. I couldn't hit the driver worth anything and the first thing I did was try some of my friends. I managed to hit them much better so I came on here and researched drivers for new players. I ended up getting the McGregor NVG2 draw for 50 on ebay and watched some instructional videos on youtube.

My first 3 trips to the range with my new driver has been outstanding. This driver is much easier to hit and I can see a TREMENDOUS difference. I was looking into getting a set of irons with hybrids (6-pw,3-5 respectively) and I really wasn't sure what to get. I saw some people talking about the Adams hybrid/iron sets. What can you all recommend? I'm 6'1 220 and a strong guy if that matters. Should I buy online? If I do where should I go to get fitted. Pricewise I'm looking to get bag/putter/3-pw for under 600.

I wanted to get hybrids though for the lower irons. also my dad just grabbed those x-18's for 400 new from somewhere

Also I saw there were nvg2 hybrids. Since I love the driver so much should I go this route?

You're in luck.  They have a 5-PW in like new condition for $327.99.  Callaway Diablo 3H graphite in like new for $75 and 4H in average condition for $63.  I've purchased average condition from them before and the clubs are still in good shape.
