I recently bought a new BLUR TS 65 stiff shaft for my R11s driver. About a week later I had a chance to use a Motore Speeder VC 7.2 X flex in my driver. It was the shaft I've been looking for...I bought it on the spot. My question to you guys; should I keep the BLUR and cut it down for my 3 wood? I'm concerned its going to feel to light compared to the speeder...or should I just sell it?

Sell it.  It messes with the flex when you cut it down that much.

Putter:  Classic Black Platinum 1

Driver:  R1 Stiff flex

3 Wood:  AMP - Regular flex, 15 degrees

3 Hybrid:  Baffler T-Rail - Regular flex, 19 degrees

Irons: :tmade: MC Forged - PW-4

Wedges: :cleve: 588 RTX 2.0 Tour Blade Black Satin - 52.10 and 58.10

Ball:  Pro V1x

Can you explain in more detail? The fujikura site states that shaft can be used all the way up to 9 wood, And for a 3 wood there is still no tip trim required.

Yeah sorry, didnt know that no tip trim was required.  I really dont like the fujikura blur anyway, have it on a 5 wood.  Sell it and buy a shaft for woods, might be too light (meant for a driver).  The best bet would be to buy a new shaft and sell this one.

You could send it my way if you want...

Seriously though, if you like the shaft keep it and use it occasionally or put it in the 3 wood... if you don't like it, sell it.

I have the same shaft in my Callaway Razr Fit - and my R11.  I guess if I decide to get another driver in 2013... I might be interested in buying it? I doubt it, but just thought I'd throw this out there.

    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
    • Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
