She's for real, the opposite of what Michelle Wie was.  She already won more times than what Wie did in her career.   Kudos for her parents, and management team (?) who took sensible approach to her career.  Wow, how nice it is to be ranked #5 in the world and be 16 years old ... a unique experience.

After this win Lydia is expected to move to #4 in world rankings.

This was not a full field event.....but there were some top ranked players that Lydia beat....Ryu & InBee, etc.

I saw Lydia win the 2012 CN CWO.

This young lady plays within herself.....choosing to grip down on a hybrid when it's the shot and controls some low spinner wedges to attack some pins.

Go Ko!!!!!!

My thoughts exactly. I love the story behind Ko. They took their time and made smart moves.

    • Day 55: 2026.03.04 Backswing work, trying to pull everything together, slowly at first.
    • Day 519 - 2026-03-04 Got some work in before lessons. Mostly downswing. My backswing is good.
    • Yeah I’ve tried it but I don’t feel very comfortable doing it like that. Isn’t there like a website where I can do it so it’s safer?? I got scammed one time on FBM so I don’t trust it.
    • Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.
    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
