Hey all -

In early Jan I am headed to my annual golf trip  -  this year it is in Orlando

We are playing:

-  Champions gate - international and national

-  Ritz-Carlton

-  Grand Pines

I've not played any of these courses so any thoughts on them would be highly appreciated

All ok.  None great, especially for the $'s, but you'll have a good time and they should all be in good shape.

Are those the only rounds you're playing, or do you have time for any more?

Just a couple in that general area.....

Get up to Orange County National.  They have 2 courses there....until this last year when they changed the qualifying process, they played the finals of the PGA Q-school there every other year.  If you can make it happen, play both courses having lunch in between rounds. http://www.ocngolf.com/

Bella Collina.  Pricey, but no more so than the others you're looking at, and better than any of them. http://www.bellacollina.com/golf/

Eagle Creek is a great course and a real bargain. http://www.eaglecreekgolf.info/course/

Just a bit of a drive:

Mission Inn, El Campeon course. http://www.missioninnresort.com/orlando-golf-resort

OP - The courses on your list are very good, in my opinion. I have only played Eagle Creek on David's list, and I have been underwhelmed at the layout, although it was in good shape. I don't play too many courses other than my own, but I like Reunion, Falcon's Fire and the Waldorf Astoria.  They are very near Disney. And I talked with a couple of guys today who played the Disney Palm course over the weekend, and said it was in great shape, as it had been closed for awhile for renovations.
